As a participant in the Checkmate Referral Program (a “Referrer”), you agree to abide by Checkmate’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (both available on our website), along with the following specific terms and conditions for the Checkmate Referral Program:
1. Qualified Referral
A Qualified Referral is defined as a successful new client sign-up with Checkmate, initiated through your unique referral link. Each Referred Customer can only be attributed to one Referrer. Additional services or repeat business from the same Referred Customer do not count as additional Qualified Referrals.
2. Referred Customer
The Referred Customer must be a new Checkmate client who has never engaged with or purchased services from Checkmate before. The Referrer and Referred Customer cannot be the same individual (e.g., using different email addresses). Suspicious referrals will be automatically disqualified. If you believe your referral was flagged incorrectly, contact us at support@checkmate.com.
3. Referral Rewards
Referral rewards are issued when a Referred Customer successfully completes a contract valued at AUD$2,000 or more, excluding taxes, discounts, refunds, chargebacks, and third-party fees.
4. Reward Payments
Rewards are issued in AUD$50 increments per Qualified Referral. Referrers can earn a maximum of AUD$1,750 in rewards per calendar year. Referrers are solely responsible for any applicable taxes associated with referral rewards.
5. Eligibility
Participation is open to individuals only. The Checkmate Referral Program is not available to businesses, organisations, or for use in affiliate lead generation. Eligibility determinations are at Checkmate’s sole discretion.
6. No Spam
Referrers must comply with all relevant anti-spam laws. Emails and other communications should be personalised and distributed responsibly. Unsolicited bulk emails or any activities resembling spam are strictly prohibited and may result in termination of participation in the program.
7. Right to Close Accounts
Checkmate reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Referrer’s or Referred Customer’s account if it identifies misuse of the Referral Program, including fraudulent activity or breaches of these terms and conditions. Additional actions may include recovering improperly issued rewards.
8. Program Changes
Checkmate reserves the right to modify or terminate the Referral Program at any time without prior notice. Any unclaimed rewards at the time of termination will be forfeited.
By participating in the Checkmate Referral Program, you agree to these terms and conditions and acknowledge that decisions made by Checkmate regarding the program are final and binding.
